On Sunday, virtually inaugurated the 'Prime Minister Excellence College' for all 55 districts of Madhya Pradesh and praised Narendra Modi's foresight in bringing a new education policy amid the goal of making India a developed country by 2047. Atal Bihari Vajpayee Government Arts and Commerce College of Indore, which has been developed as PM Excellence College.

He said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has set a target to make India a developed nation by 2047, when the country will complete 100 years of independence. NEP will play an important role in this, to become a developed nation, the foundation of education has to be strengthened and PM Modi has shown foresight by bringing NEP that meets the needs of the next 25 years.”

He said, “NEP will not only make our students stand at par with the people of the world but will also unite the culture of the country. It focuses on quality and not quantity and provides students an opportunity to think differently. NEP ensures their 360 degree development.” The Union Home Minister praised the MP for introducing medical and engineering courses in Hindi for the benefit of students.

Officials said that all the courses in these colleges of excellence will be offered as per NEP and their aim will be to provide employment-oriented education. The estimated cost of these colleges is Rs 486 crore.

He said that Indore is moving ahead in pharma and automobile sector and undoubtedly it is the financial capital of the state.
