The sixth barge of the 11 On 24th April M/s Suryadeepta Project Pvt. Ltd. (Launch site of M/s SPPL). The launching ceremony was presided over by Shri Madhusudan Bhui, INAS, GM NAD (Karanja).
The contract for construction of 11 The availability of these barges will accelerate IN's operational commitments by facilitating transportation, embarkation and disembarkation of goods. Ammunition for IN ships both at jetty and outer port.
These barges are indigenously designed and built under the relevant naval rules and regulation of the Indian Shipping Register. Model testing of the barge was carried out at the Naval Science and Technology Laboratory, Visakhapatnam during the design phase. These barges are the proud flag bearers of the Make in India initiative of the Government of India.
